DROP OFF SITES
Kansas City storm debris can now be dropped off free of charge for Kansas City, Missouri residents at leaf and brush drop off sites. Leaf and brush drop-offs will be open free of charge until Sunday July 12th, 2015; hours are 8 am to 4 pm. STORM DEBRIS PICKUPS
In the most heavily impact areas crews will be picking up Kansas City storm debris curbside. Debris must be placed curbside by July 6th, 2015 and will take several weeks for the city to collect. Branches less than 3 inches in diameter should be placed in bundles no longer than 4 ft long and 2 ft wide. Branches wider than 3 inches in diameter should be cut down no longer than 4 ft long and 2 ft wide. Twine or jute rope should be used to bundle, no wire or plastic. Trash Amnesty collection is the week of July 6th – July 10th. Residents will be able to place up to 15 bags of trash outside on regularly scheduled trash days.
Bulk pickups have been suspended for the month of July to divert crews to Kansas City storm debris cleanup. If you have a pickup scheduled for July you will need to reschedule for August.
